Presiden Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, akhir pekan lalu, mengatakan, Iran akan mengirimkan pesawat berawak yang pertama ke luar angkasa menjelang tahun 2019, seperti dilaporkan Iran Press TV.
Pada Februari lalu, Iran berhasil melakukan uji peluncuran roket Kavoshgar-3 (Explorer-3) yang membawa satelit buatan dalam negeri negara tersebut.
